We deeply regret that we are unable to facilitate the National Residential Care Awards without your help.
We are keen to hear from any organisation or individual who is interested in ensuring the continuance of the Awards and
National Nursing Home Awareness Week for 2012
The entirely unique concept of the National Nursing Home Awareness Week incorporating the powerful awards, has proven to be an effective and economical approach to raising the "bar" in our care of the aged and other disadvantaged groups living in residential care.
Our small group has personally funded the work of Daniel's Shield for the past five years. This is no longer possible.
We are open to all suggestions, including a complete take-over of the initiative.
We would fully assist any organisation that wishes to do this at no cost to themselves.
The Diversional Therapists in nursing homes are the ideal group to oversee this concept within each facility.
Please view the 2011 Awards by clicking on the Awards Tab above to obtain information about the project and its enormous effectiveness within the residential care industry.
To register your interest in contributing to this initiative for 2012 onwards, contact Diane Bates on the contact tab above or by emailing her at daniels.shield@gmail.com
This project belongs to the community. We now seek your support to ensure that it continues into the future.
